![]() My MBP is a retina 15" mid 2014 model, running High Sierra 10.13.2 with 500Gb flash storage, 16Gb ram, 2.8GHz i7 cpu etc. I'd just like to know how do I store the photos from the external hard drive onto the iCloud without filling up my MBP’s hard drive? Please don’t ask me to delete anything from my MBP hard drive because that’s not my solution. ![]() I just want the external hard drive contents to live on and be accessible from the iCloud. I don’t really want to delete anything from my MBP. Manage this drive.’ If I delete the message, within 30 seconds, the message will reappear. However, it appears that the iCloud account wants to fill my MBP hard drive with the 1200Gb of archived photos so I receive the message: ‘Your disk is almost full. I think it’s a good idea to back up this hard drive so I’ve selected uploading the whole of this external hard drive to the iCloud account (costing £6.99/month). I also separately have (archived) 1200Gb of photos that are stored on a single external hard drive. It has 391Gb of documents that I am happy residing on the MBP’s hard drive.
